Doc Dimes

Dante Scott, known by his stage name Doc Dimes, is a DJ 21 years of age currently residing in Indianapolis, IN. With 3 years of experience under his belt, he currently attends Indiana University where he performs and plays gigs for nearly all bars and nightclubs in the area. With a handful of live mixes currently avaliable on Soundcloud, he is working on producing house music as well as expanding his sound to a wider fanbase.

Doc first picked up the turntables on the latter half of his final year of high school. He started toying around with a handful of house hits, and began to build up not only his pool of house tracks, but hip hop and pop as well until it expanded into massive playlists spanning several genres. He began DJing fraternity parties at IU on the back half of his freshman year, and did so for another year until he caught the eye of local bars and clubs, which he started performing at his junior year. Doc also had the opportunity to open for stars in the house music scene such as Cloonee, Matroda, Sidepiece, and more at various Bloomington nightclub and fraternity venues.

Currently, coming off of a two-year run as a resident DJ at Bloomington's own Kilroys on Kirkwood, Doc Dimes is expanding his sound throughout Indianapolis as well as preparing to hit the Chicago house scene.  He is also working on producing new hosue tracks spannign the afro and tech house genres. Doc hopes to establish a future for himself in the Midwest house music industry.
