Doc Dimes

Dante Scott, known by his stage name Doc Dimes, is a DJ 21 years of age currently residing in Indianapolis, IN. With 3 years of experience under his belt, he currently attends Indiana University where he performs and plays gigs for nearly all bars and nightclubs in the area. With a handful of live mixes currently avaliable on Soundcloud, he is working on producing house music as well as expanding his sound to a wider fanbase.

Doc first picked up the turntables on the latter half of his final year of high school. He started toying around with a handful of house hits, and began to build up not only his pool of house tracks, but hip hop and pop as well until it expanded into massive playlists spanning several genres. He began DJing fraternity parties at IU on the back half of his freshman year, and did so for another year until he caught the eye of local bars and clubs, which he started performing at his junior year. Doc also had the opportunity to open for up and coming DJ Cloonee at a fraternity his sophomore year, as well as run official support for Australian DJ and producer Chris Lorenzo his junior year at The Atrium.

Currently Doc Dimes is working on expanding his sound to Indianapolis venues as well as playing a more pivotal role in the Bloomington music scene. He is also learning to produce professional-level tech and melodic house music. Doc hopes to pursue a career in DJing and music production beyond college.
